Leah starred in her very first play today as the cat for Peter and the Wolf at preschool. The kids worked so hard on this play and it was seriously so much fun to watch. Leah really got into character, which isn't surprising since a lot of her play time is spent pretending to be an animal anyways, so this was right up her alley. There was a cast of characters and each child got to choose which character they wanted to be, the teacher didn't care if there were multiple kids playing the same character, and the part of the Grandfather was left to be played by the teacher, because nobody wanted to be the grumpy old grandpa. Each child signed there name next to their starring role...
Leah said she wanted to be the cat because she liked the part where the cat tried to sneak up on the duck to eat him...she is so funny. Each child made their "costume", it was a hat sort of thing, made of construction paper. Leah thought it was awesome! The story was narrated by a CD player and in the beginning each character was introduced.

And don't forget about Mr. Ethan, who was a very good boy during Sissy's performance. He was very excited to be big and go to the preschool...
