An Hour at the Lake

 In efforts to do something fun and get out the house, while Grandma Mo and Poppy were in town, we decided to go over to the lake. Now, most people spend the day at the lake...Oh no, not us! We only lasted about an hour, maybe an hour and a half tops. Hence the reason this post is titled "An Hour at the Lake." None the less we had a great time :)

 Neither one of the kids are really big fans of the water right now. They were both perfectly happy sitting on the shore and playing in the mud. So, that's what they did...

 What else is new, Ethan has a dirty toy in his mouth...I just stopped trying :) And in case you're wondering what the hell is going on with Jed's leg in the picture below...That is how Leah spent the hour, she took turns burrying either mine or Jed's legs in mud.

Overall, I think and hour and a half is a pretty decent amount of time spent outside in 100 degree heat with two little babes. Can't say we didn't give it a shot :)
