Ethan is 11 Months Old

I cant even believe it! One month from today my sweet baby boy will be one year old! Which means that today, Ethan is 11 Months Old. I just love this little peanut so much and I can't even imagine by life without him. Here are a few fun facts about Ethan at 11 months and a little comparison to big Sis at this same age :)

Weight - 16 Pounds 12 Ounces Getting bigger!!!

Height - Unknown...we'll see during his one year well check.

Diapers - Ethan is still wearing a size 3 in diapers and they fit his little bum pretty good :)

Clothes - Ethan is wearing a size 9 months in clothes. Some of them may be a bit big, but for the most part they fit him well.

Feedings - Ethan is still breastfeeding like a champ. I am so proud of both of us. It was my goal to nurse for an entire year, and it looks like we're gonna make it. Ethan is now on a pretty good little feeding schedule. He eats about every 4 hours, alternating between baby food and breast milk every two hours. This kid loves to eat. Some of his favorites include mashed potatoes, diced bananas, diced peaches, diced apples, sweet potatoes, graham crackers, frozen Gogurt, cereal bars, Gerber veggie Cheetos, Arrowroot cookies, bananas, and veggie mum mums. He also will eat pretty much any of the pureed baby food dinners, but doesn't seem to be a big fan of the fruit and cereal ones.

Sleep - Things are improving in this area as well. Ethan goes down for the night between 6:30 and 7:30 pm depending on how he napped earlier in the day. Then he'll wake one time to eat sometime between 2 am and 5 am then its back to sleep until 6:30 or 7 am. I think that's pretty good. Once we are done nursing I'm really gonna crack down and make him sleep through the night. Just one more month...

Ethan still sleeps on his side with his passy and his blue Tigger blankie. If he is having trouble falling asleep he likes his musical aquarium that projects images onto the ceiling.

And his nap schedule is becoming more regular. He now takes a nap about 2 hours after waking in the morning so approximately 8:30 or 9 am and sleeps for about 1.5 - 2 hours. Then is awake for about 3 hours before going back down again for his afternoon nap which lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. I'm liking it, but the kids now are on different napping schedules which can be kind of tricky.

Likes - Ethan is the happiest little boy in the whole world. I could go on and on about the things that he likes. But just to name a few...

Leah can say or do anything and Ethan just lights up. He laughs out loud at everything she does.

Ethan has been loving Little People, he'll just sit and play all by himself.

He likes to stand up and hold on to things, he's pretty unsteady, and can't get up by himself. But he's pretty proud to be standing like a big boy...

He is also still loving bath time and he loves to swim, he loves to put anything and everything in his mouth and he still loves his passy.

Ethan has two teeth, both on the bottom and a third it popping through on the top right. I love his little smile. Ethan has started giving kisses, but wont always do it when you ask. They are the big, wet open mouthed kind...totally adorable. My favorite thing is that he gives hugs, especially when Jed or I have been gone all day. He gets excited to see us and he buries his head in your shoulder and squeezes. Love it! He wants so bad to crawl, but just can't get moving. He is trying so hard. He gets his little body rocking and just goes nowhere, he gets pretty frustrated, and then gives up and wants to be picked up. One day we actually thought he might take off, but instead he starting pushing himself backwards, he looked so confused.

He spends a lot of time in this position, rocking back and forth...
