Olympic Game Farm

Today Jed and I took the kids to the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim. We had such a great time. It was really nice doing an activity with just our little family. I really enjoyed spending the day together. I had been told about the game farm from a friend at Leah's preschool. And thought it sounded like a fun thing to do with the kids. So our little trip began with a stop at Walmart to buy 8...yes that's right 8 loaves of bread. And honestly, I wished we had brought more. We used up every piece of bread. The game farm is a drive through park with wild animals that you can feed as you go through. Most of the animals are offspring of animals from Disney movies. The whole experience was so much fun! The kids really enjoyed it!

This is Ethan as we were driving into the park. We gave him some bread to toss out the window for the animals, but he thought he would snack on it instead...silly boy! Our car even got swarmed by a bunch of lamas and instead of giving the bread to them, he swatted them away! Don't mess with this boy and his food!

We gave Leah her own loaf of bread to feed the animals...

We saw so many animals...

Peacocks

The zebras walked right up to the window of the car and took the bread right out of our hands. It was so cool to see them up close.

And so did the Bison...

But our very favorite animal was the bears. The were so mellow and tame. They were only about 10 feet from the car, behind and electric fence. You could tell they knew not to go anywhere near the fence because if one of our slices of bread was anywhere near the fence they wouldn't attempt to pick it up.

This bear was taking a swim :) All you can see is his big head sticking up out of the water...

After the Game Farm we went to Black Bear Diner ...of course :) Me and my Sassy!

A very busy day makes for two very tired kiddos!

Such a fun family day! Can't wait to go there again :)
