This was her first time in the grass. She seemed to like it. We have fake grass at our house. So she was able to experience the real deal at Marci's.

Leah is able to sit unsupported...
She jabbers and squawks at us all the time and she's realized that if she screams at a high enough pitch, it scares me and I come running. Stinker! She hasn't said her first word yet. I'm hoping it will be "Momma" but Jed has been in her face saying "Dada" since she was born. So I'm sure that will be it. She is eating 3 times a day. She has fruit for breakfast and veggies for lunch and dinner. She loves her fruit, but she refuses to eat peas. And she gags on the "dinner" style baby food, like chicken and rice...not that I blame her.
And she is holding her own bottle...
She isn't crawling yet, but she is so close. The best way to make her attempt to crawl is to put something she's not supposed to have, just out of reach...like a cell phone or the TV remote and she starts rocking and scooting. But then she realizes it's faster to just roll to what she wants, so she does that instead. She has a couple of games she likes to play. My personal favorite is when you change her diaper she tries to run away from you. And she can't go anywhere yet, so she just rolls away and laughs and her arms and legs flap around. She's crazy! And of course I think it's funny to goose her on the bottom and yell "Come here nakey butt!" She thinks that's pretty funny too.
